This is 1 of 2 that I have. The bottoms are signed PO. STROM 70. This is created by swedish artist PER OLAF STROM IN 1970. There are 3 glass layers, orange outside, milk glass white, layered with clear glass overlay inside. Just beautiful in person and that's really all I KNOW;)
    Thanks for looking.

These Alsterfors pieces by Ström are highly sort-after & this example is a particularly good one!

I agree with everyone. Now tell us, there are two? The second one id different?
I know a few people here who will be able to tell you more about them.
      Love 'em!
      Thanks for sharing!

They are identical in shape and color, they are just 2 different sizes. You can kind of see the smaller one in 2nd pic. The smaller one has a small chip on the inside rim, on the clear glass, so really hard to see. I bought that one for $15.00, the bigger one is perfect, I bought that one for $25.00. But I am not sure how much the chip effects value. I have not been able to find the orange ones online, only green. Thanks so much for the comments:)

oh my god! you lucky s0 & so!!! Great bargains!!

These were made in three different sizes. I just managed to buy, without realising it, the largest of the three sizes. I'll post a pic once I receive it.
I've only ever seen them in three colours: light blue, green and orange.

I think we both scored! What size is the large one? I would love to see pics!:)

      Measurement across the top:
      The smallest is 13cm.
      Medium is 16cm.
      Largest is 18cm.

I think these were only made during 1970 & 1971, I don't think I've seen any dated earlier than that and oddly, they don't appear in the 1970 trade catalogue(none of these 'stepped' designs appear in the catalogue).
