I was amused by this bottle perhaps used when family was playing cards. It is done of brown clear glass, 17 cm tall , the base is 7 cm and the larger diameter is about 10 cm, has the original sticker that says Zcechoslovakia Haida and therefore produced between 1918 and 1948. The glass is amber colored, two geometric shapes a sphere and a cone make up the body of the bottle, it is decorated with silver, black and red enamel with the drawings of the suits of the decks of cards. Nice bottle to drink while playing. On the base there is a golden sign that looks like a 23 witn the same silver of the enamelled decoration. The neck has narrowed tract near the balloon. The glass is very thick about 5mm and it is not uniform. Really an amusing item...On the facebook of the Glass Musueum of Novy Bor you can find a picture of another decanter done by Melchor Bruder with the original sticker, very similar to the one in this one. https://www.facebook.com/SklarskeMuzeumNovyBor/photos/pb.100063542050338.-2207520000./1458003760980251/?type=3
Thanks Warren by your help, it really seems possible that Mechold Bruder from Haida were the craftsmen, I would enjoy pouring some cherry from this bottle into a goblet while playing cards....
