This is another doll my mother had when she was young. It also has sleeping eyes, as you can see one is lazy. I believe this one is a compitition doll too. There are no markings that I can see. She does have a lot of cracks.
If anyone can help that would be great.
Doll is called a Mama Doll as in stomach they usually had a box and doll would make a noise when squeezed . She is made of composition and would date around 1930 as she has tin eyes ,she has been re painted on mouth and her arms seem to be replaced with old ones that are a bit to short. These dolls unmarked generally made in USA and would have had a hang tag on wrist telling her name or it was on box . They are fairly common to find . I would say because it was your grandmother's I would love her because of that :-)
Here is one similar to yours not exact and it is marked . Your's maybe marked sometimes it just looks like raised spots and a pencil rubbed across that area will bring out name it would be on bottom of neck .
