A plain Georgian decanter, circa.1810. This decanter has a plain body, three neck rings and mushroom stopper with a polished top and milled edge.
This is a weird one, the age is purely a guess. The feel of it is Georgian, the wear and glass quality is right, the milling on the stopper edge is hand done and not machine made. The stopper definitely goes with this decanter. I have never seen this shape on this period a decanter, and have never seen a stopper like this, and it's not in any of my books. As I said, a weird one. Weird but good.
