This is a Georgian Lynn decanter circa 1760. This is a distinctive Lynn decanter identified from horizontal optical bands in the tableware produced at the glasshouse in Kings Lynn, Norfolk in the late 1700s. This decanter has a etched car-touche the word PORT on it. It also have a high kick in the base to prevent the broken unpolished pontil mark from scratching the table. The stopper is a period one added by me, but it is about right.
