This is a really neat AVON perfume brooch. The owl has green eyes that are bright, and the center opens to reveal the perfume. I don't know the scent as it is all gone, but I couldn't resist this piece. Not too sure if this is the category or not, any suggestions?
My mother had one of these -- I think it dates from the late 1960s or possibly early 1970s. I have hers somewhere, not sure where, but I know it still had the perfume in it, though I believe the scent has long since dissipated. I believe the round disk that held solid perfume was meant to be replaceable, and I can't remember if it was sold with a choice of scents, but I suspect that was so.
