Uncle John was born in the late 1800s and he made this small dresser. It was abused (see old warped top) but the drawer pulls and character remained. I just had a top made an cleaned the rest up with oil. I'm wondering if the painted drawers would have been part of the original style..

I'm really hitting dead ends in finding anything about this chest of drawers. Would anyone even know what the drawer pulls are called? they seem to be made of pressed wood.

I discovered that it was really mass produced for the catalogue furniture business!
