One of a few old decanters I have had for a while, of which I haven't the slightest clue who it is made by...but love!.
I love the shape and the gorgeous dark treacle-amber highly polished optic glass, with it's large solid flat stopper that takes up the whole of the palm of your hand, (well mine anyway) hand blown with a smooth polish pontil to the base.
It weighs 2.6 lbs and is just over 10. 1/2 inches tall including the stopper
It's actually quiet hard to show how really nice this decanter is.
Any help with identification would be great!
Many thanks for looking!...:-)

It looks like an English pre war design. It's not Whitefriars, it might be Webb. Examine the base very carefully against the light, it might be marked.
Many thanks lovedecanters... I have looked and looked at in every position possible and I am normally pretty good at finding marks on glass most people miss but!... does matter how much I look and will a mark there...there ayn't...:-(
