Pictured is a postcard from October 1946 that depicts San Francisco's Bay and Golden Gate Bridges. It was mailed from Amherst, MA to Gloversville, NY. The message reads, "Glad to hear from you again. The card was real cute. Write when you can. Sincerely, Mrs. Walter H. Tenney, So. East Street, Amherst, Mass."
i have a large poster of this w/ a passenger jet flying over it - from the 50s. this is exactly the background.
