Greetings: This is an unusual glass vase. The design seems pressed, not cut or cameo, as the edges are smooth. It appears that the highpoints are painted and if you can discern from the pictures, the blue overpaint is opaque. The vase is 12" tall and the glass is very thick and heavy. The metal base seems to be brass with the loss of silverplate. The metal base is impressed with the word "ARGENTOR". The Argentor Silver Company of Vienna, Austria was known for it's art nouveau silverplate. ??? Regards.
