Here are a few Seth Thomas clocks, and an LF and WW Carter with BB Lewis Calendar
Left to right: (1) "Blue Mirror" eight day, time only, balance movement. Dated 1932 (2) 30 hour time only, in solid walnut case. Dial diameter 4". (3) Sentinal Tambour, dated 1958; Re-issue "Sharon" dated 1972; The small bedside shown in the previous pic; "Dana No. 4" dated 1908, in mahogany adamantine; Re-issue "Sentinal" with Hermle Westminster chime movement, dated 1986; On wall, LF and WW Carter with BB Lewis Calendar; the lamp behind them is a kerosene lamp that my grandfather electrified in 1916; (4) "Naples". My great grandmother told me she bought this clock in New York City in 1904, for $25.00. The Pewter Measures and wine bottle next to it were from the estate of "Merchant" Samuel Colton, of Longmeadow, MA. My great-great-great-great grandfather married his daughter, and inherited the measures and a few of his wine bottles with seals "S Colton 1767" upon her father's death. We have 4 of them in the family, but one of the 4 is damaged.
I particularly like the blue glass clock, purely because of the vibrant blue - my favourite colour.
