    Re-posting.
    1880-1930 train set. Was my grandfathers who died in 68'.
    No one knows anything about it from any train clubs...even the biggest one in PA. Any hep would be appreciated on age or origin. Thanks,John ;)

      I have what looks like the same train, mine says Sturdy Stuff Toys ( black sticker) on the bottom of the engine. Did you find out anymore info, if so will you share?

      These were made by my grandfather Ralph Z Hopkins in keeler Lake Michigan in the 40’s . They also made several other wooden toys of this quality as well.

      Thanks for answering, do you know if it's lead paint? Not sure if I can ask this , would you know value? Mine is in good shape, has engine and 5 cars.
