I have no idea what this is. I ave looked and no luck. Maybe someone can help me find out what this is or even what they can tell from the button or pin, what it means. I first thought it was a coin. Looks gold to me....but who knows. Thank you in advance.

      Does it seem abnormally heavy?

      Not at all.

The back tells me that it was a modern Button...probably made of brass.

I just saw something where it probably was gold And it say or is related to the British Guana ship.

I think you are talking about the coins minted in the early 1900's but this does not have a back image that I can make out. Your pic is so small I can hardly make it out but is there a back image that is barely discernible there?

It looks as if someone just covered it and put a pin back on it. It looks like there may be or was an image.
