    The Anvil I bought at an auction for $30, took it to a clock specialist and he said it was worth around $600-800. Still works! All the other clocks work too. My house has a constant ticking sound, gotta love it!

      And please forgive the crappy pics. All I have is my cellphone camera because my 14 yr old daughter lost our digital camera recently! Kids!

      tikiray, There is a group in England trying to catalog all the models of the Anvil clock company. They only had two photos of Anvil's clocks, I sent the ones you commented on my Art Deco Clock page. Now although it says Anvil on the front, look in the back and it the lower right hand corner see if it has "Perivale" stamped on it. They marketed these clocks under the name "Anvil".

      Yes, it does say Perivale. I'll post some more pictures of it and the marks and let you look at it.
