This is a Georgian ale glass etched with hops and barley, circa 1780.
You may be asking yourself why has he dated this one earlier than the last one it looks almost the same apart from two barley heads and symmetrical hops. The answer is in the foot, earlier glasses had what is known as a domed foot, and this one clearly has one. It may even be earlier but I am being cautious. Unlike my really early one this has a drawn stem, no knop and no folded foot.
Yes, you have to be a real geek of 18th century glass production to try and date stuff like this. Obviously you could still be completely wrong as different glass houses moved through different styles of production at varying rates.
