Most of you know by now I am a pottery person but thought this was so pretty. Pictures do not do it justice. Any idea who made this?

Pretty much sums up what I know also, I've learned to appreciate glas now after seeing so much of the diverse piece posted here. Have even started picking up some piece here and there :-)

Imperial Glass #4897 is the pattern number that seems to best match this one. There are several of these Rose patterns in the 489 series from the catalog that are very similar. Yours is also listed at Replacments.com as Rose. These were made in milk glass from 1950 to 1971.
