    I was going through a box today and found a bunch of items that I bought about 15 years ago, when I lived in Oregon.

    I had some great discoveries. Here is an old Juvenile Reader. I suspect that it may have been rebound-- thick untitled cover and rough edge leather binding.

    It suprised me that a book that saw as much use as this one probably did, was able to survive.

    Published and printed in Oxford, NY in 1832.

      Great! I looked for a "blue-back speller" for years & never found one. Actually still don't exactly know what one looks like. I assume, at least the back, is blue. Anybody who can show one?

      Not me! I usually only buy military related books-- this one must have been less than $1.

      Started looking for one in the 60's but still don't know what 1 looks like. That was pre-puter so guess I'll look now.
