I purchased this furniture at an estate sale for $300.00 and would like to know the value for insurance purpose. As you can tell by pictures we live on a lake and the theme of furniture is perfect for our downstairs sun room.
There is a tag on the bottom of the coffee table that says it was manufactured in March 1953 in Austin, Texas by Economy Furniture Company. I did find out that Economy Furniture Company mass produced the Wagon Wheel Furniture, this furniture has maple Gun Stock on the sides of each piece of furniture instead of the wagon wheel.
There is a sofa that is about 8' long with storage underneath and folds out into a bed. I was also told by the family who owned the furniture that the material on the sofa is original. Both chairs are Naugahyde and have flying ducks stitched on the back of each chair. The yellow chair is a rocker and the green one is standard. Coffee table has some varnish wear as do the arms on the chairs and sofa, very minor. Table and all furniture is very sturdy and in excellent condition with the exception of 1 small tear on the side of the bottom on green chair. Rocker had been used a lot and is not real firm when sitting in it.
Thank you in advance for your help.
