    I have just bought this watch and wish to get it repaired, but without knowing the maker it is virtually impossible....please can anyone out there help? Description: 9c gold ladies cocktail watch: mother of pearl face; 3-coloured gold bracelet: No makers name, only 'swiss made': Movement has AV41 embossed: 'L' on winding crown: External # on back is 23257

      If you have no luck there then try "Longines" they had some swiss affiliation

      I've seen that (L) before. Could be Lonville Langerdorf Watch Co. Of Switzerland. Just acquired one, and have been doing some research, and that is their signature L. Lonville movements are in Omega Watches that were made for the 60's NASA Astronauts, 007 Bond movies. Others watch companies, Hamilton, Lanco and so on.
