Vintage Ornate Snake Clasp Pearl Torsade

This adorable pearl necklace was too difficult to pass up! I saw a similar piece but with more strands of smaller pearls marked "Mimi di N", but this one is unsigned. A beautiful torsade with pearls in excellent condition. The ornate clasp is of a coiled snake that is checkered in purple and green enamel, while the tail and head is paved with clear crystal rhinestones. The eyes are composed of two emerald cabochons and it even has a forked tongue. Elegance with a touch of quirkiness, this piece is hard to miss when worn!
