      That is unusual for Owens Illinois to do, as they usually put the plant code to the left of the diamond, and the year code to the right, There is no plant 64, or 51, the D-8 I see on Duraglass bottles a lot, but most likely 51 is the year, as it is an A.C.L. (applied color label) which came about in the early 40's
