This guy's big and heavy! He stands 15 1/2" tall from the bottom of the ball he standing on to the tip of his trunk... No makers mark so I don't know who made him or when. Looks deco to me... Anybody know??

Back around 1998 I had my camper trailer at a place in New Hampshire, a camp ground and I think it was called Field & Forest or similar. The lady who owned it came by and told me my kids and I had to leave by the following Monday noon. It seems for a week the wican witches were taking over the place for their annual ....what ever they do. They started arriving over the weekend and getting set up. They had all kinds of big elephants with crystal balls in all different positions. One lady tried to explain to me what all power the crystal balls had and what wonderful things they could do depending on the elephant. I figured it was voodoo or she was smoking something bad. My kids and I moved and found a better fishing spot without elephants and witches. Maybe you should ask a witch!!!
fhrjr2, That's bizarre! I guess elephants are symbolic for a lot of people. I've heard about the whole trunk up for good luck and trunk down for bad thing... So, I guess this one would have particularly good mojo since his trunk's up and he's sitting on a crystal ball! Well, I haven't won the lotto or anything yet...lol... We'll see!
