Here is a great little vase I couldn't pass up. The pink and green colors work great together and the loopy handles just look so primitive...The internal glass seems to flow from a milky pink to a powdery forest green in the ESC "fishnet" pattern. Throughout the piece there is chunky mica, looks great in sunlight.
thanx, cheap but effective 4-layers of glass...
There used to be an art school mantra
" Pink and Green should not be seen with out a colour in between !"
This just disproves that old one !!
thanx oz, bellin
does not look cheap to me :D very pretty
Beautiful Kralik1928. Fantastic 'little' vase! May I ask how big is it? I have a vision of it being 10" high, lol.
I with, this shape is 5 1/2" . There are examples of 12" tho...
I'm categorizing these as kralik Cluthra
Very interesting. I have a similar vase in my collection. I bought it as a bohemian glass - maybe Loetz around 1930. Finally I ranked it as a product of Kosta Boda - perhaps a design by Bertil Valien - ca. 1970. Bertil Valien's products, however, are marked and I have seen no Valiens vase with these handles. So the Bohemian glass option around 1930 remains. ???http://www.bohemianglass.org/katalog/misa-s-uchy-4094/detail/
Jericho, thank you very much for the sent photos. I have already included my vase - bowl was repaired at Kralik - decor "Cluthra".
glad to help
