Remarkable book from 1904 Julia Ward Howe has gold on sides pages
"Honorable women not a few"
This book is old and my wife's grandmother is in this book 2 pages, and i have a letter from Mrs Howe to her before the book was printed.If anyone would like a files of pages of any women i can scan pages of them, any women before 1904. Only Goggle has this book can not find a copy anywhere so let me know.
Just goggled her name Julia Ward Howe , she wrote the original "Battle hymn of the Republic' ,the letter i have is from her in 1903 about our Rebecca Putham Cook Pickett. Her husband died 1 year after they were married 1873 and remarried a Pickett, we all lived in her home. Julia wrote about Rebecca and told her her G.G.Grandfather was General Israel Putnam battle from Bunker Hill fight.
