Shaler Rislone 3 oz. All-Purpose Lubricating Oilier Can. It holds 3 fluid ounces and is about half full still. It is from the Shaler Co. Waupun, Wisconsin. It has typical wear spots from age and usage but overall is in very good condition. Any input on age would be greatly appreciated, i'm guessing its from the 40's but i'm not positive. Thanks for looking!!
Thanks mustang, pops, kerry and chevy for the love!! Thanks for looking also!!
Thanks for the love officialfuel!!!
Heya Poop, I had a Shaler Flange sign and it was from somewhere in the teens to the 20s. They mainly did stuff for patching tires from the teens to the 40s, I believe. There are many patch tube bottles and cast iron pieces for working on patching a tire and they probably included yours in a kit or to the tire dealers for them to sell to the public. I hope that helps some. Nice find!
Yes ive seen the tire patch kits sell online before but yes thank you very much for the input, that atleast helps me narrow it down to a certain timeframe, 1910 to 1940's :) thanks for looking and id love to see your flange sign if you ever decide to post it just comment on this post :D
Here is a pic of one of the sides of mine, it was rough. Also here is a pic that someone had in their Flickr acct that was NOS.
