    Manikin" cigars manufactured by J.R Freeman. Pulton Place. Waltham Green, London SW6. A very old family company established in 1839 and one of the first to produce cigars in the UK. The families origins are from the Dutch cigar industry. In 1920 they bought out J.Frankau & Co which owned the H.Upmann factory in Havana. However, they themselves were taken over by Gallaher's in 1947, who continued to produce the "Manikin" cigars and I think you can still buy them today. I think your right with dates 1930s/40s.
