I hope you don't mind me picking your brains about a pencil I have found, its a silver slide action pencil, with a small turquoise stone on the slide mechanism. It's only about 6.5cm when closed and has a suspension loop, which makes me think its part of a chatelaine.
The marks are quite rubbed but I can make out the name of A. Bachruch just under the slide.
I can find A. Bachruch as a silver retailer in Budapest up to in the early part of the 20th century, but cannot find any other information.
Just wondering if anyone has come across any other silver pencils from this former Austro-Hungarian retailer?
