ANIMATED TABLE LAMP

I have recently found this lamp at my parents house, I remember as a little girl in the 1950's it used to be on the bar lit up in my grandmothers hotel in Blackburne Lancashire. Anyone any idea how to describe it, where it comes from, manufacturer or anything? still works lights up top and bottom bulbs, but could do with rewiring to current standard. Shade is the original as far as i know.. a very interesting piece.. it stands without shade 16" on the base is ..Made in ITALY KERIMA GUALDO 1
any info. would be gratefully received.
