RECLINER CHAIR, POSSIBLY FROM THE EARLY 1920's - IT LAYS BACK TO 1.8 METERS, ALL ORIGINAL, MAHOGANY WOOD, WITH ALL BRASS FITTINGS AND BAKELITE ROLLER WHEEL FEET. THIS CHAIR HAS BEEN IN THE FAMILY SINCE AROUND 1930, VERY LITTLE USE, AND THEN WAS WRAPPED AND PUT AWAY....some information has come to hand, and apparently the chair is around 1868..and was an invalids chair, and also perhaps used as a barbars chair, which I would tend to think would have originally been covered in leather then if this was so the case...it has been in the family since around 1930, so perhaps it was re upholstered in fabric around then...but wow is it in great condition....

Wow - that was quick with you information, yes it does look like it is a chair that may be used for a person with difficulties, which makes me think maybe it was purchased for my Uncle who had cancer back in 1930's...
