It's amazing where you can shove corner shelves around the house. This one holds some of my Hull pieces

Thank you Bellin. He showed up on my doorstep 3 years ago and refused to leave. I'm lawful glad he was so stubborn. Thought he was a girl until I took him to the vet, was I embarrassed!

Thanks JayHow. I am trying not to get glass fever since I have no room but it is hard not to when I see so much beautiful glass on here. AmberRose told me I am just one great find away.

He is a good boy, thank goodness he doesn't like pottery.

The little on in the middle is a flying duck or goose on a triangle heaped vase. I found it at goodwill for 1.29 I think. It is Hull also. Posted it a while back.

It is just in a bowl of rocks I have had it for years grows very slowly. Doesn't get much sun if any, just keep the rocks covered with water. Is supposed to be lucky bamboo.

Thanks JayHow. My sister has one and hers looks a little shabby too. They thrive on neglect!

Southeastern Ohio. I too have cabin fever.

I see you are in southern Ohio too. I am in Marietta, ever heard of it?
    13. nldionne nldionne, 12 years ago
Yes, across the river is the Fenton Art Glass Factory. Of course they only make glass beads there now. Was always a school trip while I was growing up.
    14. nldionne nldionne, 12 years ago
Yes it is. I have four little acres out in the country and I love it. Two acres of woods and two to mow. Thank goodness someone invented the riding lawn mower:)
    15. nldionne nldionne, 12 years ago
I would not live in the city for anything anymore. Got the mower out yesterday to make sure she is ready. Of course I use it to drive around with my little wagon on the back when I do yard work.wont be long before well have to start mowing if this weather keeps up.

It was beautiful. 70 here. Today still 60 but rainy so back inside. I was outside all day yesterday. You know living in the country there is always something that needs done. We start in spring getting ready for winter.

Your collections are really beautiful and so is your cat. I have one just like her/him. I used to collect Hull back in my high school days. Can't even remember what happened to them, just know I don't have them anymore :(. I found my Weller blue "Cameo Rose" hanging basket hiding in the cupboard the other week. I thought it was long gone ,but there it was still perfect .Must have stashed it there for safe keeping after the move and completely forgot about it. It was like I had won the lottery I was so happy. I've started collecting again but now I'm all over the place. I love the Goodwill stores here in northern Ohio (Cleveland area). I have a five dollar rule, which I almost never break. The vase I have on CW was a mere $2.00 I couldn't wait to pay for it and get it home. Just wish I knew the maker . One thing I do know it's definitely worth more than $2.00 !

Thanks Mike have been trying to find your vase as I look for one of mine:)

Thanks nldionne every little bit helps. I have to admit I'm getting super frustrated. Color wise (more turquoise than in the pictures) it looks like a lot of things but the shape except for the Roseville vase I've seen is elusive. It's not Roseville for sure it's just too plain. It's almost greek like which leads me to believe it's early maybe 20's or 30's. :)
    21. nldionne nldionne, 12 years ago
I've seen some Roseville that I would never have guessed they made. Could be anyone. That's the worst part, knowing that you have something but not knowing what it is. Damn these potteries that don't put their name on their product:) don't give up!

You got that right and damn the paper labels they used too, that got peeled off or only last until they washed it ..lol !
