Greetings: This lovely marble/alabaster bust of a young girl sits atop one of my pedestals. It is signed in the stone "Galleria Frilli, Firenze, 1895". The Frilli Art Studio was founded in 1860 in Florence, Italy by Antonio Frilli. Antonio died in 1892 and his son, Umberto, took over the studio. The studio still exists today. Eary works command high prices - in fact, although a much larger example, "Woman Lying on a Hammock", in 1999, at Sotheby's (NY) brought $630,000.
