    1949 Singer Sewing Machine Book. I just flipped through this book and I can tell You, There's just about everything you would ever want to know about the Singer Sewing Machine, as well as Sewing in General !! Sometimes it is downright involved!!

      I have this book too, it's a classic :) mine is the green version, a slightly later edition. I love her instruction that ladies should put on their makeup and do their hair, before starting sewing, in case any unexpected visitors turn up :)
