Haven't been able to pick up to much info on this water cooler it's 6 gallons with only a small chip in the lid seen a couple similar and they were said to be from the late 1800's to early 1900's all I know is it is fairly heavy at 41 pounds, we just stumbled upon it last weekend so were happy with the find.

Most likely a Robinson Ransbottom (RRP) of Roseville Ohio. Google Robinson Ransbottom water cooler, or Crown or Blue Crown water cooler, that should give you the info you're looking for. (Because these are often stamped "Roseville OH" the RPP crocks are often misidentified as Roseville Pottery.) It's good that you have the lid that appears to be original to the crock.
