Our CW member misglass posted a lovely piece of jozefind glassware -- i purchased my piece 3 year ago at the Ross department store for $15 -- they labeled it or called it the spider vase -- i particularly like the uniqueness of it so incorporated it to one of my art glass garden pieces that i use as a birdbath
last pic is of the house with rare snow that we rarely see -- that pic was taken in 2004
Love the garden, too!
Great!..I also love the wee humming bird!..:-)
Beautiful! Great idea for your spider! Thank you for sharing.
Love this, living in the country the deer and raccoons would love it too:)
thanks kev and inky for the loves and comments -- inky -- where are you seeing a humming bird -- that bird is a gull -- did you start your weekend early and not invite me -- thinking of perhaps buying me a bottle of communion wine -- of course i would share with you -- hugs to all
thanks misglass and nldionne for the loves and comments -- so enjoying making these -- we usually sell what i make during the winter months on the oregon coast at the markets when we spend the summer on some land the family owns and am able to park the motorhome for free -- have a great weekend
I know you think I'm under the table most of the day!!!... but! what is that little clear glass flying thingee hovering on the edge of the bark and pebbles.. in fact two! one further along???....hic!...;-/
good lord inky what an eye for detail you have -- your right -- the solar light in the background is a hummingbird -- the pebbled path has hummingbirds the entire length -- i enjoy sitting out on the patio after dark and watching them turn on and off in rainbows of colors -- have a great week girl friend
a-hugh!...see!!.. I talk not bull zeet!... you think I know not the diff between humming bird and seagull....you too! have a great weekend my friend.....;-)
So how did you do this? do you glue a bunch of pieces together in a free standing structure for hte garden? It looks great. Wondering how you do it because thinking of doing it myself.
greatsnowyowl -- hi elsa -- yes they are glued together using E6000 -- trick is to make sure they are level -- most glassware is not and has to be ground down to make each piece level with the pieces it will sit between -- i only glue 1 piece at a time and let it set 24 hours before doing the next -- keep me posted -- if you have questions as you go you can email me at
autumnlf@comcast.net or call 360-433-2805
will be fun to see what you come up with -- enjoy your evening

hi inky -- no i know better than that -- as i have read some of the useful information you have shared with other member's in regards to critters -- plan to work on some needlepoint this weekend as the weather will be rain -- i like rain but after 5 months of it --- one gets a little sick of the stuff -- but one also can not complain too much as we have been blessed with no nasty storms, sink holes, blizzards etc etc -- enjoy your day inky and keep a study hand on that mouse!
We have in some parts the same amount of time with no rain! and now just about the whole of N.Z is official in drought mode! including us...it's the farmers and the stock I feel for (we live rural).. so we would like some of yours please, predicted a little rain this Sunday but! prob not to those that are in dire need it the most... and of course wont be near enough!...:-(.... you too epson233 and...I will & I willl...:-)
our midwest where i hale from has also been in drought mode -- but mother nature finally gave up the ghost and sent the blizzards -- it seems it is many times feast or famine with her -- typical women some might say : ) :)
thanks for the loves sean -- enjoy your day and try and stay out of trouble -- no i take that back -- that wouldn't be any fun at all!!!
hi, you were right I had missed this. Thanks. I probably won't be doing this if it requires grinding glass. both me and my hubby are some of the most "un-handy" people around. LOL yours looks great though.
hi bunny bunny boo -- how are you coming with the packing???? -- the weekends coming yahoooooooooooooooo -- lova ya kid
