This is a beautifully designed Native American Squash Blossom signed JW. Can anyone tell me who the artist is? I have found a few artists with the intials JW, but they do not have the same style of J.

Unfortunately there are thousands of different hallmarks in NA jewelry, and if its not in your book then you'll probably never find it. Pieces from the 1960's-70's like this are even tougher to find.
I assume you're on here looking for info so you can list it on eBay, so I'll warn you that these are the toughest to sell. The 1960's-70's is the least desirable era in NA jewelry, it was all inexpensively mass-produced.
Stillwater, thank you for your comment. Actually, I am Native American, 1/2 Cherokee, and 1/2 Blackfoot, and I collect many Native American pieces. I love the craftmanship as well as the history of the pieces I find. I like learning about the designer; because many of the pieces have been passed down for generations.
Oh I see, I thought you were just another shmuck looking for a free appraisal. I deal lots of NA jewelry and I'll tell you, maybe 1/5 times you'll be able to ID the maker. I like the older stuff, I've got some really good pieces posted on my page if you'd like to take a look. 1920-1940 stuff
Stillwater, you do have some nice pieces on your page, thank you for sharing. Yes, I know it is difficult to ID some of the makers. Fortunately, many of the pieces I have, the owners were kind enough to share some of their history with me.
I assume this particular piece is probably from the 60'-70's, simply because the person I purchased it from said it was his grandmothers, and he was in his mid 20's. But, I love it!
