Beautiful Lacquered Fedoskino Pegockuno Plaque was created in Russia with the materials you would find in a typical Russian Lacquer box but this can be hung on the wall.
The lacquer wall hanging features Fedoskino Pegockuno a woman standing amongst beautiful shiny flowers. In traditional Russian garb, the woman is charming and draws your eyes in. Simply a great piece to have in your home.
The wall plaque once had hooks on its backside and now only one remains. It will need repair if used again to hang on the wall. On the front of the beautiful picture, there is crazing. Overall, the Russian Lacquered plaque looks very good. But, the plaque shows evidence of age, circa 1980's. There are some smudges that are normal from the laquared materials of age.
Signed on the bottom corner pegockuno and signed by E.Bracol, the artist in the opposite corner.
The wall Plaque measures 16 1/4 x 6 inches.
