Hello Again,
Another purchase from yesterday. This I picked up at an estate sale at the house of the family that owned the ' Durgin Park ' restaurant, in Boston.
( I also bought a wonderful watercolor there, which I'll post tomorrow ).
This is a great piece, about 9+1/2" long, 5+1/2 " wide, with a flower at the top, a star, and the letters ' PEO ', ( I was wondering if the 'E' was actually an ampersand?).
Any ideas what the 'PEO' might mean?
I hope it rings a bell with someone.
Thanks,
Tony.
Thank You Tony,
Best wishes for a great week ahead!
Thank You for the love, Bellin and Brat,
and Sean, Thanks for the comment
have a great week!

Thanks for the Love, Kevin & TubeAmp
Thank You for the comment TubeAmp, I think you may have something there!
Excellent lead.
Hi, Tony! Hope you're doing well in snowland, and that your Kat on Terrace is not frozen. : ) Do you think that this might have once been part of a door knocker ensemble? Since the flower unit has to direct support, I thought that this might be a possibility. Take care out there in the snow! Regards, miKKo
Thank You for the love and comment miKKo!
Alas, the snow has melted and the scent of Spring anoints the air
we still haven't seen the sun, but it's lovely.
and Marianne/Marti, she's an indoor kitty,....(too many coyotes around:)
I'll think on the door knocker idea, molto grazie!
Hello, I noticed your post from 10 years ago, and not even sure you still have this PEO Trivit? At any rate, I’m going to connect you with the information attached below. I have the same Trivit myself, from my Mother and Grandmother. It’s a fun history for sure!
