    A old bentwood trunk I got from the dump

    I really like the look of these old trunks
    a bentwood trunk and it's in pretty good Condition.
    I'm just going to store some old stuff I find at the dump in them n hind them away. Thanks for looking

      Is "bentwood trunk" a common name for this type or just what you call them? I have the larger version of this on my site. The brass corners shine up nice on these.

      Yes That's what they are Commonly know as a bentwood trunk in the uk. I've got two of these but this one is the better one.

      It's named after the wood that is bent around the trunk. Some later trunks are not bent but Joined together which are not that good.

      You must have more than a shed in the backyard to store it all. Barn?

      I'm building a big shed in the back of my garden but at the mo it's mostly all in my attic :)
