I don't have a clue as to the age of this BB gun I would guess 40's - 50's on the grip it's marked Crossman Arms Co., Made in USA, Rochester, NY. Under the chipped paint it appears to be made of brass and it has a lever pump action, the grip appears to maybe be bakelite or plastic it's 11 1/2" long and fairly heavy.
Thanks mustangtony
I would love to have it to pop iguanas raiding my tomatoes!
Thanks blunderbuss2, the old thing still works great.
How about finding me an old CHEAP pellet gun for my iguanas.
I'll teach them kevin so it will be an even fight! I know I can't teach my tomato plants to defend themselves because they are too slow & can't hold a gun. besides, all I hear about is "assault weapons"! Doesn't anybody make "defense weapons"?
I'm sure there are some old pellet guns around blunderbuss2 but I haven't seen to many lately, I got this from my father in law about 18 years ago and still need it for my garden.
Thanks AR8Jason
Sure don't see any old 1's around here for sale & new 1's cost as much as a regular gun.
I was out pickin today and didn't see any myself, and I've never seen one like this.

Thanks petey
AR8Jason, I think I saw it just before it went down.
AR8Jason no, no cartridge.
AR8Jason That's the beauty of this one no cartridges to mess with, just pump and go.
I got into a LOT of trouble with this BB gun, broke lots of windows and got caught! Oh, how fun it was being a child. I hid this from my parents for weeks until I got busted! I had this exact gun except it had wood where the pump action was, must have been a later date or your wood is missing. But it did a lot of damage!
Thanks zguy2112 I've often wondered if there was a grip on it or not, I've tried to find other pictures of it but have only came close and nothing just like it, this is just the way I got it so i'm really not sure.
Yeah, I'm not sure either. This might be an earlier version of the same BB gun before they decided to put wood on the pump action, either way I remember this particular gun had some serious pressure! Much more than others during the same time and even today. Enjoy it!
