    these are some nice old glass buttons I purchased with alot of other mother of pearl and ivory buttons, these were tied together with a string, any ideas on thier age?

      They are from about the 1940's. Button Collectors call these realistics or "Goofies". Sold in sets and you seems to have the whole set. These were also made in plastic.
