I've had these two phone/intercoms since removing them from a home being demo'd in 1984. I'm looking for any info on them and do you think thier worth restoring. It doesn't look like there's many parts available.
jc2, Your first intercom was manufactured by the Electric Goods Manufacturing Co. marked (EGM) on your transmitter face plate. The second intercom is by the same company, but at that time was called Electric Gas Lighting Co. (EGL Co.). The Electric Gas lighting Co. was founded in 1880 based in Boston and by 1904 changed it's name to Electric Goods Manufacturing. This company manufactured intercoms, annuciators, and glass battery jars under the name Samson. There doesn't seem to be a big market for intercoms right now, price between $45 to $75
Wondering if you still have these two intercoms? thanks!
How would you get ahold of someone who is no longer posting?
Thank you...
