For some reason I have been on a jewlery kick. I think seeing and learning from everyone on CW inspired me. As i mentioned in a previous posting, I found a great thrift store. It is a legit thrift where the don't mark up the prices or steal from the donations. They do seperate the nice jewelry from the junk, and the woman is very nice and teacher me a lot. She was stumped by this set. She swore it was old and handmade. I have doubts, but don't really know. I don't see any markings. Is it a men's set of cufflinks and a tie pin? If somone could help me ID the metal and the stones I would by grateful . Thanks for looking!
BHock45, this set is indeed a Men's cufflink and tie pin set made of Silver or Silver Alloy. The stones are Carnelian or Agate of some sort. I think that its a great set and wonderful that its intact minus the pin keeper. It looks like it was made in India for Export. I hope this helps..
