This is an antique EAPG Ruby souvenir miniature stein/mug/shot glass from Springfield, Minnesota. It measures approximately 2" (5.1 cm) tall & 2 1/4" (5.7 cm) wide with the handle.

very nice example of an EAPG miniature toy mug; often used for toothpicks. Don't see them too often with the ruby stain in such fantastic shape. This one is shown in the 1902 McKee & Bros Glass Works/National catalog listed simply as No. 6 Toy Mug. Decorating companies often bought these types of pieces and added the ruby stain for souvenirs.
Ruby stained souvenir items had rather long lives. Duncan's "Button Arches" can be found with names and dates going into the 1930s, 1940s, and even 1950s. I have a RS toothpick in Co-Op's Madoline that is dated 1946. Some of these items with such late dates may have been old stock.
