      beautiful watch -- still have my old elgin that i received for 8th grade confirmation in 1962 -- long since had to stop wearing it as when one ages one needs to get the watches one can see -- sometimes i think that elgin is aging better than myself -- but it is still fun to get it out and look at from time to time

      Thank you for the additional pictures. Even though the watch is working it needs to be serviced by a watchmaker. I'm sure the watch needs a C.O.A. (clean oil adjust) If not it will be only a matter of time before the movement is damaged.
