Came across this bill recently in LA at the LAX Van Nuys Flyaway airport bus... don't know a lot about money errors but wanted to find out the prevalence and value of this type of thing.

Bill is otherwise normal -in typical condition - but seems that the green Treasury seal has bled through or possible transferred from the bill behind.

It is amazing that it was printed upside down.

I would be of the opinion that the error is not authentic. I think that is just a random stamp that someone added after the BEP printing process. It would be virtually impossible for that error to occur naturally.

Why would someone go through the trouble of replicating the dept of treasury stamp in reverse?

I also have a similar note with "bleed through" on the treasury AND bank seal.
