Hello these spoons came today, I am not sure what they are used for 8 in. long, marked 950 sterling, Help is appreciated, I paid much less than the melt down price. Maybe just decoration?

Hi, toracat! You certainly are finding a lot of nice silver items. : ) These are perhaps Japanese. They look to me like they're for muddling and stirring drinks in tall glasses. The hallow stem on some muddler spoons functions as a straw, too, but I don't think that your muddler spoons are straws, too. The terminals on the stems preclude that possibility. But who needs a straw? : )
Thanks miKKo! You are probably right! will research this! I do not know why people did not like these and bid on them. Again thanks a lot!!
Yo: 0u're most welcome, sir!
I agree with mikkochristmas, you see many of these on that auction site. Are the hollow?
Here is the one I came across at an estate sale. Very similar in design and function.

Thanks, This is first time I have seen these! Not hollow but I like, my son is 1/2 Japanese so happy to hear they are made in Japan!
