    Hello these spoons came today, I am not sure what they are used for 8 in. long, marked 950 sterling, Help is appreciated, I paid much less than the melt down price. Maybe just decoration?

      Hi, toracat! You certainly are finding a lot of nice silver items. : ) These are perhaps Japanese. They look to me like they're for muddling and stirring drinks in tall glasses. The hallow stem on some muddler spoons functions as a straw, too, but I don't think that your muddler spoons are straws, too. The terminals on the stems preclude that possibility. But who needs a straw? : )

      Thanks, This is first time I have seen these! Not hollow but I like, my son is 1/2 Japanese so happy to hear they are made in Japan!
