When I was a kid in Texas in the late 70s I worked at a Pipe N Pouch, the maker of this pipe came in the shop to sell his pipes. All I remember is his name was Tiner and he lived up in the mountains of Colorado, he could not see very well but he made very high grade pipes. I know I paid a lot for this but don't remember how much, I think around $300 to $500 and back then that was a lot of money to me. I have not smoked it in over 30 years and can't find anything about the maker. Does anyone know about this guy?, I know he made a bunch of them, any help would be nice.

I knew Tiner, he moved from Colorado to Cape Fair Mo. in the 70's. He had a small bus that was a workshop for making his pipes. He only had 10 percent vision in both eyes so he was legally blind. His pipes were pretty expensive and very nice. He was killed in a sledding accident about a year after he moved to Cape Fair.
