This is a double strand necklace I pulled apart what was attached to a 14k Deco etched double clasp that was broken. Each strand measures 18.5 inches and the other is 16.5 inches and all the Moonstone beads are in prinstine condition..and all have a beautiful blue adularescence and the faceted Amethyst spacers are very pretty. This almost has a blue/purple shimmer to them..with the Amethyst. I am about to redo the whole necklace and I bought this many years ago...now just getting to recreate the set...

miKKoChristmas11, Ok I have to confess :0 I had all good intentions of remaking this Moonstone necklace with a nicer clasp...but the strings are too short for my fat 16 inche Japanese/Russian neck! So these have been loose for about a year...and I don't like chokers! What is your advice :0

Oh, sorry, haven't been playing on CW lately! Thank you kindly for the compliment of eliciting my opinion! (First opinion: You do not have a fat neck!) I'm afraid I can't think of anything that wouldn't detract from the glory of the moonstones except to intersperse them with smaller moonstones. Or perhaps matte silver spacers? And, would a very fine transparent line be suitable for threading these? Gorgeous! Whatever method you choose, they will be glorious.
