My mother was given this vase or urn over forty years ago. It came from Grass Valley, CA. I think it might be Chinese as they mined for gold and worked on the railroad in the 1800's around that area. The bottom has a stamp pressed into it of a money bag with some type of symbol or letter in it, I think its Chinese but I am no expert. I don't have a decent photo that shows it clearly. My mother told me before she passed away, that it had 3 coins inside it. Its finely detailed interior has a temple hand carved or cut inside it with two people kneeling at a table in front with drinks on it, surrounded by a tree on the exterior. Has anybody ever seen anything like this?
